(DFW AIRPORT, Texas – March 7, 2019) – Dallas Fort Worth International Airport will welcome more than 3.8 million passengers this spring break travel season. To prepare for the growing number of flights and travelers, DFW has implemented new technology initiatives over the past year, aimed at providing customers with added convenience and cost savings.
Customers can experience the following initiatives at DFW:
- Prepaid Parking Online: Complete your Checklist and Save Big
DFW Prepaid Parking completes the spring break checklist by offering $10/day Terminal Parking rates for travel through May 31. To take advantage of this special deal, customers can book their parking online at dfwairport.com/park or through the DFW Mobile App March 7-8.
- TSA Wait Times: Help in a Hurry
DFW now provides customers with information that allows them to make informed decisions throughout their journey. TSA wait time technology launched at DFW in Dec. 2018, allowing customers to see real-time information on the anticipated times for clearing security checkpoints. Times are also shown for nearby checkpoints, allowing customers to determine if they would like to walk to another checkpoint. TSA wait time screens are operating in Terminals C and D and will be rolled out to the remaining terminals in the coming months.
- Mobile Ordering: Download the App, Skip the Lines
Grabbing a bite to eat while on the go is easier than ever before with DFW Airport’s mobile ordering. Available in all five terminals, GRAB allows customers to order and pay for their food in advance through the DFW Mobile App or the GRAB app. Once they arrive in the terminal, customers can skip the line and pick up their food before heading to their next destination. Customers can save 20% on their first order by using the promo code “DFW”.
- Mobile Passport: Breeze through Customs
For international travelers, Mobile Passport Control is available to expedite the arrivals process. The complimentary service is available through DFW Airport’s mobile app. Through the app, customers create a profile, input trip information, and answer U.S. Customs and Border Protection inspection-related questions, allowing them to proceed through the arrivals hall and reduce the wait.
